On the Living Nature of Wood
Wood is a material with character. Even after processing, it continues to “live,” responding to light, humidity, temperature fluctuations, and daily contact.
Over time, its tone may shift — naturally, gently, gradually. It darkens, deepens, and gains richness. This is not a flaw, but a noble part of its aging and interaction with space.
We work with this material consciously, with respect for its nature. That’s why we choose finishing methods that enhance the grain, strengthen protection, and allow the wood to live on — not in the workshop, but in your space.
This respect continues in the care, which depends on the type of finish.

Wood — Water-Based Varnish
Water-based Varnish forms a durable protective layer that resists moisture and staining. It highlights the natural structure of the wood and allows for easy maintenance.
Simply wipe the surface regularly with a soft damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaning products.

Wood — Hardwax Oil (Rubio, Osmo)
A natural finish based on oil and wax, it penetrates the wood’s fibers, protecting from within while preserving its tactile warmth. We recommend using brand-specific maintenance products for periodic refresh. This finish is easy to restore, requires no sanding, and becomes even more refined with age.
Metal — Powder Coating
Alongside wood, we use metal as a contrasting accent or structural support. We choose powder coating — one of the most durable and long-lasting finishing solutions.
It protects metal from impact, corrosion, moisture, and temperature fluctuations. The surface requires minimal care — a soft dry or damp cloth is enough to maintain its cleanliness and geometry.
