A floor-to-ceiling shelving system crafted from solid chestnut, oak veneer, and black metal for an old town house in Lisbon. Warm wooden shelves move through a precise metal structure, creating an architectural rhythm between the living and dining areas. Open display, closed storage, and natural grain come together in a piece that feels engineered, tactile, and quietly elegant.

The system is built around a black metal frame fixed to the floor, wall, and ceiling for architectural stability. Solid chestnut shelves are set into the structure with precise routed connections, allowing the wood and metal to read as one integrated composition.
The lower section includes closed wooden storage modules with sliding doors, 45-degree joinery, and circular recessed pulls. Finished in Golden Hour hardwax oil, the wood keeps a warm amber tone while highlighting the grain across the shelves, cabinet fronts, and open side section.
