Linear Floating Beam Lamp
Project Details
The suspended beam is a custom-built lighting and architectural element, spanning 4 meters in length. The structural frame is made of 20×20 mm powder-coated steel, mounted between opposing walls for secure load distribution. The core element is a solid sapelly wood beam, finished with a matte protective varnish to highlight the natural grain.
The lighting system is integrated into a concealed steel tray and features four embedded warm-temperature luminaires. Electrical wiring is fully hidden within the steel tubes and wooden beam, with the power outlet embedded in the wall for a clean, uninterrupted aesthetic.
